In this time of economic knowledge, all the countries in the world pay much attention to their science education. Our country has the strategic decision: Rely on science and education to rejuvenate the nation. With the new development of new basic education course, the primary school science curriculum becomes basic course gradually. The new science course demands high-quality science teachers, but the current situation of science teaching is inadequate. Because some governments and educational administrative branches are not supportive about the importance of science education, science teachers for primary school are scarce. With the influence of traditional education, the science teaching attainment of the present primary school science teachers is inferior. The scientific knowledge structure of most of the teachers is specialized, weak in comprehension, without integral point of science. Without setting up the student-centered teaching theory,the ideals about teaching of some science teachers are backward. Some science teachers are weak in ability of scientific inquiry and teaching. The current situation of science teachers is one of the reasons for low quality of primary school science teaching.On the bases of analyzing the necessity of training primary school science teachers, the writer knows about the problem in primary school science teaching by consulting materials, comparing and summing up the reform about primary scientific education and the characteristics of primary scientific teacher training at home and abroad and combining the demand of the foundational educational course reform and questionnaire survey. After that the writer does some relative studies in how to train the quality of scientific teaching of scientific teachers and improve the teaching ability. Then according to course standard (grade3-6) of full-time compulsory education, experimental research is done by recognizing normal school students research group of studying primary scientific teaching directed by the theory of learning by doing , constructivism theory of learning and scientific theory of knowledge in order to find out a way of improving the primary school science teaching ability of normal school students and an effective path for training primary school science qualified teachers.The result of research shows initially: It is an effective way to use case method of teaching, learning method of experimental formula and cooperative learning of group to train the science teaching ability of normal school students. But if we want to turn out a large number of qualified primary school science teachers, we must depend on establishing primary science education major and perfect course system and stronger college teaching power.
