The Theory of Multiple Intelligence was first proposed in Frames of the Mind by Professor Howard Gardner, psychologist of Harvard University of the United States. This theory attracted the attention of the educators all over the world since it was proposed. It has a great effect on the educational mode, teaching methods and educational assessment since it was introduced to china. The meaning of Multiple Intelligence Theory in Chinese teaching, how it can be applied to Chinese teaching, Multiple Intelligence Theory and designs of Chinese classroom teaching, how can Multiple Intelligence Theory instructed classroom teaching are discussed respectively in some essays and works home in china, but it still worth further exploration on inspirations of Multiple Intelligence Theory under new curriculum standard, the meaning of the combination of the two, and how can be applied in Chinese classroom teaching, which will be discussed as following.This paper is divided into 4parts. Introduction explains the current research on Multiple Intelligence Theory, the objective of this paper, the meaning of doing this research, and the methods applied in this paper. Chapter one introduces the Theory of Multiple Intelligence and the new way of thing in education. Chapter two exposits the meaning of the theory in Chinese classroom teaching under the new curriculum standards which includes 6parts:1 language intelligence is one of the curls of Multiple Intelligence Theory, 2Multiple Intelligence Theory and the educational concept of the teachers,3 Multiple Intelligence Theory and the realization of the objectives of Chinese classroom teaching, 4Multiple Intelligence Theory and the changes of the students'learning methods, 5Multiple Intelligence Theory and the design of the classroom teaching, 6 Multiple Intelligence Theory and the teaching assessment. The inspirations are discussed from the perspectives of the differences of intelligence, the development of the intelligence and the variety of intelligence. Chapter tree focuses on the application of Multiple Intelligence Theory .It has three overlapping catalogue of multiple teaching methods, emphasis on comprehensive learning, multiple assignments. It is concluded that the Chinese teachers had better make use of the Theory of Multiple Intelligence reasonably and make the Chinese classroom the stage of the self-performance and self-development where they can experience success.
