Since the present world requires more qualified and all-round-developed personnel, as an important part of education, high education has improved its education goals gradually. The education evaluation is a key one of school education chains, In 2004, the Ministry of Education has promulgated "National Ordinary Universities Sports Education Specialized Undergraduate course Specialized Curriculum Plan"; In 2005, the Ministry of Education has promulgated "Track and field Class Curriculum Teaching Instruction Summary", its curriculum total goal has also made the corresponding change. As the medi-resonance of the evaluation theories and practice, the evaluation system has played double roles of both theory structure and practice instruction. It's very important to study the present evaluation system of students'school achievement, change its disordered state and make it to be a theory, system as well as a structure to follow the age's needs.The thesis analyzes the literature material and studies other countries'educational evaluation theories, employs investigation method to know the present state of the evaluation to school achievement of track & fields courses, employs the mathematical and the logical statistics process to analyzes the investigation data, and analyzes the present state of the evaluation to PE undergraduate majors'school achievement of track & fields courses with the help of some associating theories. To be specific, the study is carried out from four aspects. The first part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of the present state of PE undergraduate majors'school achievement evaluation as well as both its advantages and disadvantages. According to the thesis, PE undergraduate majors'school achievement evaluation should show the thought of basing on student-improvement. The evaluation should focus on the last result and the progress as well as the master of"Three Bases"and ability training. The second part is mainly about the basic concepts, progresses and methods of the evaluation. The concepts of the evaluation are the goals, the hypotheses and the principles of evaluation. The evaluation practice involves the progress and the basic theories which set up the whole system. The third part is on the specific contents, methods and stages of the evaluation which can guarantee the evaluation work successfully. At last, the thesis touches the improvement of the evaluation.Even though the educational evaluation has improved a lot, PE undergraduate majors'field & track school achievement evaluation is not a perfect one. The thesis might make a contribution to the improvement of PE undergraduate majors'school achievement evaluation.
