The marvelous character of 21st Century is that man has entered into the age of information. The entire world was engulfed by the wave of informationalization, which greatly influences every aspects of the society and also the education has been developing into informationalization. The informationalization of Education demands the students, which is one of the main bodies of education, possesses a certainly information literacy. The secondary vocational school, which is the main part of the secondary school education, shoulders heavy responsibilities of training advanced constructive talents. So what kinds of information literacy should be possesses by the students of the secondary vocational school so that they can fit in with the needs of the times? How is the current situation, and what strategy we should develop to improve the student's information literacy? This is an important problem for the vocational school teachers to deal with and it is also a problem for us to take a deep research. Because of this, we take the training of vocational school students with information literacy as a researchful subject for the thesis. On the basis of expounding the relevant theory of information literacy, the thesis makes a scientific standard for the information literacy should be possessed by the vocational school students, and also makes the specific introduction of the significance of this age.The significance lies in: 1 information literacy is the stimulate element for the students to improve their lifelong ability; 2 information literacy is the basis of developing the ability of innovation; 3 information literacy is the important part of profession literacy; 4:it is a need of strengthening the moral education and lessening the bad influence brought by the internet.Through the sample test, there is a research on how is the current situation of information literacy for 448 secondary vocational school students from different classes and different sex in rural areas and cities. After sorting out the results and the analysis of the databases the thesis concludes the problems existing on the education of information literacy. For the problems of students information consciousness, information knowledge, information ability and information morals, the thesis puts forward realistic solutions, which is the training strategy of information literacy for secondary vocational school students. Including: 1. Optimizing the teaching of information technology courses; 2.the integrations of IT and other courses; 3.improving the information literacy level of the teachers; 4.creating an elegant net of campus life, and contributing a good information atmosphere in school; 5: setting the course which is owned by school: the info index of literature.
