The Practice Of Students Build Concept Map On Their Own In Senior High School Organic Chemistry Teaching

Research shows that the network construction knowledge built by students themselves about key concepts is helpful to students for understanding, learning by heart and extending the learning content; it is also helpful to students for improving their learning efficiency. As a teaching tool and technique,building concept map method has been widely paid attention to by teaching staff more and more.In this paper, the actuality of senior high school organic chemistry teaching and the study about teaching method of building concept map in chemistry teaching is analyzed; the characteristic of student is analyzed also; the vacancy about building concept map teaching method using in chemistry teaching is discovered; the teaching method that students build concept map on their own is put into practice in senior high school organic chemistry teaching, the effect is affirmed by the investigating questionnaire, interviewing students, and analyzing the effect of students studying; the principle and method is offered to solve the shortage showed in the practice. Following is the conclusion:Students can make study actively on their own initiative, improve their ability in understanding and learning by heart knowledge, improve their learning efficiency by building concept map on their own.Students can grip the relation between the different concepts; form a knowledge network; and merge the organic chemistry knowledge into an integral whole by building concept map on their own.The teaching method that students building concept map on their own can improve the students'achievement widely; reduce the difference between the students; make the students speaking zealously; make the class ambience get into a heat.The students who build concept map on their own can learn by heart more knowledge and keep the knowledge more long time than others.The group cooperation concept map method can foster students'team spirit; help students to form good quality. It is favorable to the students advancing roundly.
