Nowadays, informationization is the general trend of economic and social development in the world. Information technology centering on multimedia and network technique has become the creative tool of developing human abilities. Fast-speed development and extensive application of information technology inevitably bring along the all-round educational reform in the objectives, contents, forms, methods and organization. On the background, the concept of E-learning becomes popular and universal.E-learning is the kind of learning style in which an ideal learning environment and students'principal role can be realized through modern information technology and the integration of information technology with subject curriculums. It can reform traditional teaching structure and education essence and achieve the aim of cultivating creative talents. In E-learning, development and application of learning recourses will be the key factor influencing its effect.E-learning recourses refer to various digitized information recourses which can be used by the students through modern information technology, including texts, graphics, images, audios, videos, multimedia coursewares, network courses, etc. E-learning recourses not only have the characteristics of multimedia, hypertext, friendly interaction, long-distance share and so on, but also have the network between knowledge and many combining and searching ways. Up to now, E-learning recourses have become popular and been used widely.From the angle of the developing trend of college teaching reform in information society, this study analyzes the key function of recourses in E-learning, puts forward principles and strategies to develop and apply E-learning recourses and elaborates development and application of E-learning recourses taking College Physics as the example. The paper has five chapters.Chapter I is about the developing trend of college teaching reform in information society. It analyzes viewpoints on talents, trend of contents, evolution of methods and modernization of educational technology in college teaching in information society.Chapter II summarizes E-learning, puts forward the definition of E-learning, its core elements and whole characteristics, analyzes the effect of E-learning on college teaching reform and thinks E-learning is the developing trend of education informationization.Chapter III analyzes the meaning of learning recourses and E-learning recourses and its classification. It also puts forward principles and strategies to construct E-learning recourses according to the present situation and main problems. This chapter is part of the core contents of the paper.Chapter IV introduces the development of E-learning recourses for College Physics in Shandong University of Technology, including developing the PC version of teaching courseware and learning system for students based on the network.Chapter V investigates and analyzes the application of E-learning recourses for College Physics. This study designs the special questionnaire to investigate, analyzes the result and gets the strategies to develop and apply E-learning recourses.
