Curriculum providing takes an important role in the Master's cultivating, whether it rational or not has the vital significance to the quality of Master's cultivating. The thesis includes the following four parts.The first part explains the connotation of "Creative Education", including creative character, creative consciousness, creative thinking and creative capacity; the base of "Creative Education"; the characteristics of "Creative Education", including its advanced, integrity, subjective and practical.The second part is the core of this thesis. The thesis considers the "Creative Education" as an important guide to Master's curriculum providing. First, it states the reconstruction of Master's curriculum providing in three phases: course objective, content, and constructer. Then, the principles, including: the integration of interrelated and concentrated; the integration of scientific ness and humanity; flexibility; emphasizing on practice.The third part is on the analyses of Master's curriculum providing of Material and Engineering Science. This part adopts positive ways and concludes that the present Master's curriculum providing has the following drawbacks: relatively large volume of common required courses; comparative large difference in degree course and unreasonable curriculum construction. The main reasons lie in three sources, which come form the influence of the educational conception, traditional cultivating model and the cultivation of discipline.The fourth part is on the reforming measures for Master's curriculum providing. In the light of "Creative Educational Value Orientation", the following measures must be taken: (1) Persisting in the "Creative Educational Value Orientation"; (2) Rationalizing the structure of curriculum; (3) Strengthening the cultivation of discipline, promoting the quality of the faculty; (4) Practicing complete credit system.
