The college still lacks the conception and the preparation of thesenior vocational-technical education, although the secondary technicalschool that takes junior vocational education has been upgraded to thejunior vocational education college that undertakes juniorvocational-technical education. There are still many questions, and itcannot quickly adapt to the demand of the education. Only to correctlyorientate, firmly grasp connotative construction, rebuild teachingcharacteristics, can we make sure that the senior vocational educationdevelop healthily, steadily and continually.The article goes deeply into the background of the junior vocationalschool being upgraded, the connotation and characteristic rebuilding ofthe senior vocational college based on the comparisons and thoughtsbetween junior vocational school and senior vocational college throughcomparison research, fundamental analysis and documentation retrieval.The article emphatically discusses the existing problems in the practice ofthe senior vocational college and countermeasures to the problems. Thearticle includes five parts.Part 1, introduction. Elaborate the cause, purpose and significance ofthe research, as well as the present state, contents and methods of theresearch in domestic and abroad.Part 2, summarize the history, present state, and development trend of the vocational education in China. And make an analysis of thedifference of the junior vocational school and the senior vocationalcollege.Part 3, expound the necessaries and possibilities of the juniorvocational school being upgraded to the senior vocational collegeaccording to the urgent need of the senior vocational education in thesociety.Part 4, analysis the problems that will be met during the juniorvocational school being upgraded to the senior vocational college. Theyare discipline construction, teaching plan setting, course arrangement, andteacher troop training, and so on.Part 5, put forth the affective development strategies of the seniorvocational college. Based on the accurate orientation, the college shouldfollow it's unique path, rebuild the teaching characteristics, such asdiscipline construction, teaching plan setting, course arrangement, teachertroop training, professional qualification admission,production-study-research and so on. And try to achieve success in theintense competition.
