The work of scientific research is being developed in full swing in Primary and Junior education, so it's urgent for the music teachers to realize the importance of research and take part in. There are many problems being raised before us, such as, what problems exist in the present scientific research situation for Primary and Junior music teachers, what the causes are, what countermeasure we should take etc. This thesis aims to give satisfied solutions to these problems in practical investigation and theoretical expression.This thesis consists of three parts:The first chapter: An experiment on the present situation for Primary and Junior music teachers. The methods of bibliographical investigation and interview are used in this chapter to get a full grasp for the present situation of Primary and Junior music teachers, then get conclusions from opposite sides. For example, there are some points needing to be confirmed: The number of music subjects being planned by the country increases quickly; national scientific research activities for music teachers are developed more frequently; The special music educational research organization is being formed gradually; The music teachers have made same acknowledgement to scientific research; etc. Simultaneously, there also exists some problems below: Educational administrative department and leaders don't pay much attention to scientific research for music teachers; The scientific research systems aren't perfect; The scientific research abilities of music teachers aren't high; etc.The second chapter: Cause analyses for problems existing in scientific research for Primary and Junior music teachers. This chapter aims to make cause analyses for the main problems existing in our country's scientific research situation for Primary and Junior music teachers, and then ascribe to three aspects, namely, cognitive level, practical level and management level.The third chapter: The basic train of thought for strengthening scientific research for Primary and Junior music teachers. This chapter has raised relative resolutions according to the further analyses for the main problems existing in our country's scientific research for Primary and Junior music teachers, which include how to improve scientific research abilities for Primary and Junior music teachers, how to meet music teachers' need of making scientific research and create scientific research practical mode new, together with construct unity of music educational scientific research and diversifiable scientific research evaluative system for music teachers, etc.
