Conscience is an old and key topic in both philosophical and ethical areas. We all know, because of the special nature of teachers work, the teaching profession is the matter of conscience. The characteristics of the teaching profession require teachers to be the most basic professional ethics, that is professional conscience. Teachers conscience not only is the core of good personality personality and the starting point and end-result of improvement in teachers self-quality, but also determines the achivement level of teacher profession and the smooth progress teachers moral building.This paper consists of three parts.The first part mainly expounds and analyzes the connotation, content,features and functions of teaching profession conscience. Teachers professional conscience is the conscience of the general with different characteristics, different levels formed by the combination of individual conscience,this paper from individuals, Occupational workers and teachers in education three layers to discuss what professional ethics teachers should have, analyzes content and linkage of the teachers professional conscience from teachers moral awareness, moral sensibility, moral will and moral conviction, focuses prominent teacher is not only a necessary quality in moral field, but also as a main moral,it is a characteristics of the individual which is vividly and specially, the cultivation of the teachers conscience is a way to upgrade the level of conscience. The overview of related concept and content of teachers conscience lays the theoretical foundation for the specific expositions of ancient educators in the second part. Meanwhile, it aims to provide a clear concept of the accurate positioning the specific performance of teachers conscience in the areas. Then, it will provide a basic logical order for analying the cultivation methods of ancient teachers conscience.The second part is the key part of the paper. It expounds the conscience concept, teachers conscience and the performance of the conscience and the methods of developing teachers conscience form the ancient Chinese educator Mencius,Zhang Zai, Lu Jiuyuan, Wang Yangming on conscience, which aims to state that teacher as a moral subject first has the tendency to do good thing and the potential consciousness capacity and conscience cultivation is mainly based on the realization of the "good will", then, a teacher can make "best efforts". This, we can sum up the development characteristic of the teachers conscience thinking of ancient Chinese educators: In theory, the combination of the "body" and "used"; in realization, formed a theory standards in universality;in cultivation methods, integration of heart and temperament, integration of knowledge and practice,integration of internal and external.The third part of the paper discusses the teachers professional conscience standards and makes some basic points on the basis of the second part. Then, it analyzes the conscience absence form the spacific performance to the forming cause in the construction of the teachers morality. Form the cultivation methods of ancient teachers profession conscience in the second part, draw out effective ways of developing present teachers conscience: improving the cognitive of teacher's morality, probation education, connecting with teaching practice, playing moral subjectivity and enlightening rational consciousness, establishing a certain awards and punishments to standardize students conscience guidelines, accumulating good and so on. The objective is to internalize the teaching profession conscience guidelines as much as possible into the teachers personal stable quality to become their behaviors and to consciously use the standards to choose, supervise, valuate the moral behaviors and quality of work.
