The society of 21st century is a knowledge society. The volume of information and knowledge presents exponential growth and their update speed is obviously accelerating. As the intellectuals, teachers in middle schools have no lack of knowledge on one hand. On the other hand, in the face of the voluminous"sea of knowledge", they always don't know how to extract useful knowledge and transform it into knowledge."We live in the sea of information, but we have to bear the thirst for knowledge". This is just the lifelike portrayal of the state above.With the progress of education reform, the promotion of new curriculum reform and implementation, the teaching objective, pattern, strategy and method in middle school has had fundamental changes. And the teachers in middle school are facing more stern challenges. Under these circumstances, the teachers not only have to get abundant knowledge reserve, but also obtain higher information accomplishment to recognize, obtain, develop, share, utilize and evaluate the personal knowledge so as to improve the ability to compete and adapt to the social development.The PKM is the process of utilizing the methods, ideas and techniques of knowledge management to recognize, obtain, develop, share, utilize and evaluate the personal knowledge. In order to improve the working efficiency and teaching skill to satisfy the requirements of social development, the middle school teachers should pay enough attention to PKM.In the research process, this paper uses the approach of literature study, questionnaire survey and discussion. Through investigating and analyzing the state-of-the-art of PKM of middle school teachers, this paper finds that on one hand, the teachers has met the requirements such as the hardware environment, software environment, the corresponding social environment and information accomplishment for PKM, and on the other hand, the PKM of middle school teachers still has some problems like lack of management consciousness, lowness of quality and so on in the PKM. So the ability of PKM of middle school teachers needs to be improved.In view of above question, this paper proposes a Blog-based pattern for PKM of middle school teachers, and researches and analyses the practices of PKM of middle school teachers. The Blog-based PKM pattern is to carry out the PKM taking the personal knowledge of teachers'as the center. The teachers first obtain their personal knowledge through bidirectional interactivity between the Internet, the interpersonal relationship network and themselves. Then using the Blog, they can realize digital study log, digital knowledge library and platforms for personal study, work and cooperation. This process fully manifests the human-centered dynamic management idea. The Blog which is easy to learn and use is quite a good tool of PKM. So this tool is advantageous to the extension and application of the proposed pattern. Also, the proposed pattern can provide theoretical references to middle schools teachers to effectively carry out PKM.
