In 2001, the Ministry of Education issued a book, which is named the Summary of the Curriculum Reform of Basic Education; emphsising the importance of teaching idea is considered too simplistic. Take class for example, students are just listening while teachers are teaching, without any interactivities. It's so backward that some educators are advised to think more about the education of primary school and middle school (basic education).Nowadays, knowledge is continuously brought fouth, at the same time, more and more information is arising with the development of society. However, it's not important for a student to learn much, instead, to learn well is more important. So a new curriculum standard has been formulated, that is, it's aim is to make students know to learn by themselves. Though it's a challenge to the traditional teaching made (it's purpose is good enough to make students become a subject of class, As teathers, how to study and apply it in physics teaching for senior one is becoming an urgent task. Therefore, the exploring teaching model for physics teachers plays an important role in the teaching reform.The main view about it is to make students become a subject in class. besides; teachers should pay attention to students'ideas and thoughts. This kind of teaching model has made great achieves in other countries. However, in our country, with the reform of basic education, it is becoming developing and classifying. In my research, I'll discuss about the usage of the exploring teaching in physics for Senior One students.There are two aspects discussed in this article, nearly, how to apply it in theory and practice. First of all, I analyse and set forth my thought on the background of structuring the model, including the present situation of physics teaching for Senior One. By providing lots of information on exploring teaching and theories from home and abroad, I state the essence of the teaching model; meanwhile, I discuss different grounds of theories, getting the theoretic support of the teaching model. Considering it, to apply the model in senior schools is becoming necessary for physics study and teaching. To make things better, the teaching reform is poor areas will be greatly improved by popularing it widely. Second, I learn a lot about students'interests, attitudes, learning methods and even present situation in study by using different methods such as investigations, test or conversation. With the assistance of theory and practice, I design my teaching programmes and put them into effect one by one.Of course, it turns out that the exploring teaching model in physics for Senior one Students can not only help students get more effective learning methods, but also help students improve their learning abilities, even their creative abilities. There is no doubt that the valuable teaching methods also can help solve some usual but difficult problems in physics teaching.
