High School Chinese Class Reform has been implemented in four provinces in July, 2004. A new teaching field can be found from the angle of appreciation of the high school Chinese reading.Based on the theory of esthetics, this thesis ensures the basic connotation of the high school Chinese appreciation reading teaching, and discusses the teaching process and teaching method by using the theory of dialogue. The latter part of the thesis demonstrates the detailed teaching practice of the author in Shizuishan City experimental high school in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, and designs the practice cases of high school Chinese teaching, and also makes an analysis on the cases.There are f parts in the thesis.Part one begins with the connotation of the high school Chinese appreciation reading teaching, pointing out the character of encouraging readers'subjective initiative of appreciation of the high school Chinese reading. Then points out the purpose of encouraging the high school Chinese appreciation reading teaching is to promote the esthetic appreciation of both the students and the teachers.Part two demonstrates the four processes of the high school Chinese appreciation reading teaching, that is, general view and the understanding of the content; language taste and the rebuilding of the imagination; content meaning thinking and the esthetic judgement; the mingle and the resonance of the reading.Part three discusses the six methods of the high school Chinese appreciation reading teaching, that is, phonetic reading, interactive conversation, participated research, associative comparison, initiative question, and emotional writing.
