Art is not only a kind of culture but also a carrier of culture. Chinese painting is a typical style of Chinese painting, which embodies the essence of Chinese traditional culture. It has the value of the heritage of the culture and art. With the continuous improvement of our national consciousness, we pay more and more attention to Chinese painting teaching in primary and middle school education. This has become an important way of national culture inheritance and development.With the development of psychology and physiology, the increase of cultural knowledge, the aesthetic emotion and aesthetic attitude of high school students gradually mature. In senior high school, it is very important to carry out Chinese painting appreciation education, which is very important to the national culture. However, it has been a concern of the Chinese painting appreciation teaching as an important link of the Chinese traditional culture and the development of Chinese traditional culture, which has been a weak link in the current high school art teaching.The art knowledge of the students mainly depends on the art teaching. The effect of the classroom teaching is directly related to the quality of art teaching. How to effectively improve the effectiveness of the teaching of Chinese painting in the high school has become the core problem that we must solve. Therefore, we should focus our attention on the "effectiveness teaching method".In this paper, the author explores preliminarily "effectiveness teaching method" through the teaching practice using the search literature, questionnaire interviews, teaching practice and other methods. The whole text is divided into four parts: The first part analyzes the important significance of offering Chinese painting appreciation course in high school stage against Commercial pop culture. The second part based on interviews with teachers and students in some schools in Suzhou is about the current situation of the effective teaching of Chinese painting appreciation in high school. In the third part, the author puts forward the practical method of improving the effectiveness of the teaching of Chinese painting appreciation in high school, namely, the special teaching method. In this part, the author tries to explore the use of special teaching method, to stimulate students’ interest in learning, to carry out reasonable and scientific re combination, the teaching focus and difficult to extract, form a special study to guide students through active research and participation, to break through the key and difficult to understand, so as to effectively improve classroom teaching effect. In the fourth part, the author tries to use the special subject teaching method to demonstrate the feasibility of the author’s research.The teaching method of this research is mainly based on the action and reflection of the researcher in the concrete teaching practice. It has certain pertinence and directivity. Effective teaching method for high school Chinese painting appreciation not monolithic, use of specific teaching method, it should be and characteristics of teaching content, teachers’ teaching style and the specific teaching environment. This is the fundamental solution to improve the effectiveness of teaching.
