Study On The Current Situation, Problems And Countermeasures Of The Balanced Development Of Basic Education In Suzhou

This thesis is a discussion about the problems of the balanced development of basic education. At the foundation of analyzing"the balanced development of basic education"briefly, contacting the reality of educational development in Suzhou, utilizing a large amount of firsthand materials, this text analyzes the situation and problems existing in the basic educational development with the real example method, makes a concrete reason analysis of the problem with the basic educational development of Suzhou. Finally, on the basis of comprehensive research, the text puts forward several suggestions for promoting the basic education in different areas of Suzhou to develop proportionally. The thesis is divided into five parts altogether. The first part is a preface in which the background of the dissertation and the research viewpoint and methods are briefly introduced. Meanwhile the situation on basic education both in foreign countries and China and the significance of this research are presented.The second part is the theoretical analysis of the balanced development of basic education. At first, it analyzes the backgrounds in producing of the balanced development of basic education, and then it defines the balanced development of basic education; later it points out respectively the influence of economics, politics and culture on the balanced development of basic education.The third part is an analysis of the current situation of the basic education in Suzhou. After a summary of the basic situation on the development of basic education in Suzhou, it analyses the current situation of basic education in urban and rural areas; of the areas inside the urban district; of Jiangsu province and the whole country.The fourth part is an analysis of the problems and the causes of the balanced development of basic education in Suzhou. Basic education of balanced development in Suzhou is not perfect, for instance, the financial investment still needs strengthening and there are still gaps existing between the high-quality resources of basic education and the needs of people. The problems are raised by the reasons of the current educational system which makes basic education hard to gain a great amount of financial support from legal ways, results in gradual conflicts between financial offer and need; of the delayed adjustment on the cost sharing and investment system of basic education, which clearly shows the conflict of"the government insufficient investment"; and of the people satisfied education is a process, and the key point is to develop the basic education with high efficiency and sustenance.The fifth part is an analysis of the advantages in Suzhou of the balanced development of basic education and some suggestions. It proposes several suggestions of promoting the balanced development of basic education in Suzhou on the basis of the objective analysis of the advantages in Suzhou. Having certain theoretical value, there is a great practical meaning to the balanced development of basic education in Suzhou.
