Cooperation Of School And Enterprise: Surpass Of Curriculum Development In Higher Vocational Education

The unique cultivating goal of higher vocational education has required high standard to the curriculum. But the curriculum development survey, which was carried out in some colleges of Hunan Province, revealed that there is a big gap between the realistic curricula and the ideal ones, and that is the surpass of internal requirement and realistic pressure in curriculum development of higher vocational education. Cooperation of school and enterprise is not only an important way to realize surpass of curriculum development of higher vocational education, but also an educational principle that direct curriculum development of higher vocational education. Only on the view of cooperation of school and enterprise to design, carry out and evaluate curriculum, we could walk out from the narrow campus where curriculum was developed.The following principles should be given more attention: a combination of the rational reflection and perceptual experiences in curriculum strategy; laying equal stress on aiming and developing in curriculum goals; an intersection of theory teaching and practical training in curriculum implementation; linking up teaching education and professional certification. Both sides should play their roles well in curriculum developing procedure. For example, the school should be an organizer in curriculum development, a leader in curriculum implementation, a feedback information collector and a sponsor in curriculum reform. On the other hand, the enterprise should be a good adviser in curriculum design, an assistant in curriculum implementation and a leading role in curriculum evaluation.System innovation is the guarantee to surpass of curriculum development in higher vocational education. The measurements, for instance, supporting of cooperation of teaching project, well financial and tax policies are guarantees, co-organization in leading team, too.
