Study On The Subject Construction Of The Research College

To build Research College is the keystone of building Research University, and it is also the effective approach to build Research University. During the construction of building Research College, it is found that the subject construction is the core of building Research College, it is the base of university's three functions—fostering competent student, doing research and serving for the society, and it is urgent and necessary when building Research College. There are differences between Research College and common college. The nature of Research College is to create knowledge, and it is known that the way of creating knowledge can be through different kinds of academic dynamics. But whether it can demonstrate academic dynamics or not is finally determined by the subject construction. Therefore, let our colleges become research colleges in order to make our university to be the research university is now the aim of our higher education universities. Judging from the already done research and the subject construction itself in the process of Research University's building, the subject construction plays a very important role in the building of Research College and the process of Research University. Definitely it is the major issue that we need to study and solve.On the basis of the nature of Research College, if we want do the study on the subject construction in Research College, we should firstly make a clear idea of the relation between Research College and Research University, the relation between Research College and the subject construction in Non-research College, and then find the principle they develop. This paper implied comparison and analysis to analyze and evaluate the Research College, Research University and Non-research College's characteristics. On the foundation of the analysis, it drew the subject construction's fundamental frame and content in Research College, including focus on the special feature, from a developing aspect; pay more attention to the environment balance, from a systematic point of view, build from different level, have its more important and less important, enforcement of creation, manage in a dynamic way etc. Finally we discussed and analyzed of the aim and practice of the subject construction in the Research College.At the background of having a very clear idea about the main characteristics, the theory basis and the fundamental frame, this study gave the existing problems, the reason why it developed so slowly and the influenced factors when constructing the subject from the aspects of the direction of construct subject, the evaluation system, the academy team member, the management of subject and the open for outside system and communication with the outside. And it gives some suggestion of how to construct and develop the subject construction in Research College exactly.This study did on the basis of concerning with the subject construction in Research College, absorbing the theory fully, using the already done research result, giving its literature and having the survey method.
