Application Study On University Research Learning Based On Social Software

Research Learning (RL) is one of important study modes that promotes the undergraduate course teaching quality and pushes forward a reform in education. In the teaching process, Research Learning takes problems as media, through creating inquiry background and ways, in the way students gain actual feelings and experiences about the creation of knowledge by collecting, analyzing and processing information. Therefore , students can understand the society, and know how to study. The core of Research Learning is changing the student's study method, and the purpose is to cultivate the analytical and problem-solving ability, innovative spirit and creativity of students. BBS, Blog, SNS etc, as the main representatives of social software create a good condition for the university to develop Research Learning.The thesis analyses the concept and characteristic of Research Learning, discusses the necessity and feasibility of developing Research Learning on campus and analyses the feature of social software and its application in education in detail. It is Based on theoretical analysis, and adopting Discuz (BBS) which is the principal product of Comsenz company, X-Space community personal space system which agrees with the Web2.0 philosophy, and SupeSite community gateway aggregation system.This paper also constructs campus Research Learning platform, and applies it into teaching practice , and carries out the Research Learning activity of "integration and utilization of teaching resources in campus network environment" which is based on social softwares. This Research Learning attaches great importance to the training of self-study ability and creativity, guiding students to search materials actively, turning to teachers and classmates actively and learning how to cooperate and communicate with each other. Students display very high enthusiasm of participation. The platform which is constructed by Social softwares can notably enhance the consciousness and ability of independent learning, cooperation ability and teamwork spirit, therefore it makes full use of the advantages of information technology.
