The Research On Professional Counstructiong Of College Counselor Team In Our Country

College counselor is the important component among teachers, the backbone of moral education and ideological and political education in colleges and universities, and the guider for the students' the healthy growth . Counstructing counselor team is more the important organizational guarant and long-term mechanism to strengthen and improve the ideological and political education of college students, to maintain the stability in colleges and universities, which is of great significance to fully implement the Party's education policy, and to carry out all tasks of ideological and political education of college students. "The views on strengthening the Counstructing of College counselor team in colleges and universities" , promulgated by the Ministry of Education in January, 2005, raised to "encourage and support some backbone to study relevant degree education, engaged in the work of counselors, developing professionally, and expertly "which brings the professional construction of college counselor team to the agenda.Professional construction of college counselor team is the inevitable trend of the development of education in China. The research on professional construction of college counselor team has important theoretical and practical significance to enrich the management theory of ideological and political education, to provide practical guidance for the construction of college counselor and to promote the development for individual counselors .This thesis use empirical research methods, uphold the unity of theory and practice. It pays attention not only to the understanding about the true situation, but learns from the education, management, pschology and other multidisciplinary theory and method. Based on recalling the historical evolution of the college's counselors, the thesis discussed the definitions of the college's counselors' work duties and their status by the documents from the Party since its inception, summarizes the characteristics of the educationg, complexity, intelligence, continuity and demonstration, which belong to the counselors' work; notes the concept of the professional development orientation of the counselors, points out that counselors should become the experts in a particular field of the ideological and political education and management; demonstrates the necessity of strengthening the professional counstruction of the team of counselors through analysising the favorable conditions which are provided by the reform and development of higher education and the ideological and political education of college students, and the obstacles encountered during the counselors' professional construction and development; points out the overall goals of the counselors' complementary functions and reasonable structure and individual goals of the counselors' political quality, professional ethics and knowledge of literacy and job skills with the dual demands of the overall harmony of the team of counselors and counselors' self-development. Finally, it points out that according to counselors' professional standards, professional counstruction of the team of college's instructors should be strengthened by creating a good environment for construction, building standardized management mechanism, improving the counselors' quality, striving the counselors' work force.
