Study On The Construction Of College Counselors' Professionalization Teams In The New Era

The university and college counselor system has a long history.Since the founding of the People's Public of China,the college counselor system has gone through four stages: germination and creation,tortuous development,professional development and innovative development.The career orientation and professional title of college counselors are also changing with the domestic political situation and the development of college education.The comprehensive advancement of personnel training in the new era,which puts forward new requirements for the development of the university counselor system,namely the construction of college counselors' professionalization teams and improve the abilities and qualities of the counselors in all aspects constantly,which is not only the requirement to strengthen the ideological and political work in colleges and universities,but also the inevitable choice to further promote the construction of college counselors.The focus of the quality improvement project of ideological and political work in colleges and universities is the research on the construction of professionalization teams of College Counselors in the new era.The research of this important subject is of great practical significance for strengthening the ideological and political work in colleges and universities and improving the level of the team construction of college counselors.The professionalization teams' construction of college counselors is not only based on the human development theory of Marxism,social division theory and subject knowledge theory,but also supported by the policy of ideological and political work,the policy of college counselors' team construction,the occupational competency standards of college counselors and other policies.However,the construction of professionalization teams of college counselor has been faced with many problems,such as the system of personnel training and transportation has not formed;the lack of professional security in counselor team and the instability of team members;and the construction system mechanism of professional teams are not perfect.These problems have resulted in such current situations including the poor knowledge literacy of the counselor teams,the low level of business and the imperfect development mechanism.Through analysis,it is not difficult to find that the reasons for these phenomena are three aspects: the lack of professional identity and professional responsibilities,the lack of professional ability and knowledge reserves,and the insufficient attention paid by universities on the team building of counselors.Based on this,the construction of professionalization teams of college counselors in the new era should focus on improving the system and mechanism of college counselor's team construction,and provide a variety of construction scheme such as theoretical research oriented,education management oriented,ability oriented and other professional college counselors team,to promote the diversified development of college counselors' professionalization team.In addition,universities and colleges should actively explore the further development of counselor teams' construction,and strengthen the research on the related policies on the construction of college counselors' team,providing resources,talents and professional support for professionalization teams' construction of university counselor,so as to promote the ideological and political work to a higher level.
