Education is about people and for people. Education is to be about the living of people and for the development of people. Nowadays, with the sense of living increasingly standing out, education is faced with the pursuit and rebuilding of life. The ideological and political teaching is not only a process of getting knowledge, but also a process of experiencing; the purpose of education not only lies in the accumulation of knowledge, the development of cognitive ability, but also in the shaping of one's emotion, attitude and value of life, or even in the development of one's faith and behavior. In a word, it lies in the development and improvement of one's living activities in all aspects, which will not be achieved without the experiencing of students.Senior High School Ideological and Political Course Standard suggests an open, interactive teaching method and cooperative learning method, which lays great emphasis on experiencing, exploring and the process of them. This is said to be the basic feature of the reform of new curriculum. So this essay is aimed at studying the theory and practice of experience teaching in senior high school's ideological and political teaching, so as to improve the efficiency of ideological and political teaching. The essay is divided into four parts:Part One: The general idea of experience teaching. This part is started with the origin of the word "experience" and the definition of the word is made from the perspective of philosophy, psychology, aesthetics and education. Then we will further discuss the intention, feature and the basis of the theory of experience teaching, and we put forward "experience, the intermediary of knowledge to culture. "Part Two: The significance and necessity of implementing experience teaching in ideological and political teaching. We will first discuss experience teaching's position and significance in the reform of new curriculum and its presentation in Ideological and Political Course Standard. Then we will discuss the advantages of implementing experience teaching, which is the aim of quality education, too. Through deep reflection about traditional ideological and political teaching, We will found out some problems that affect the efficiency of ideological and political teaching .Part Three: The practice of ideological and political teaching. This part is the central part of the essay and the goal of experience teaching. The steps of practice are generally like this: create a environment which can arouse students' interests and provoke students' thinking; organize activities which demand students' active and interactive experience; make reasonable evaluation to give students the taste of success; the teacher will always reflect, and even gain experience to students' experience.Experience teaching is teaching that is in love with the spirit of the time and is suitable for the development of teenagers both physically and mentally. What it refers to is not just the innovation of teaching and study. What's more important is that it will change the way of both thinking and behaving in traditional teaching, and it involve the improvement and rebuilding of people's life station in education.
