A Research On Certificate Fever And The Involved Strategies Among Ningbo College Students

Under the social circumstances, college graduates face a complex labor power supply-demand background and a competitive talent market. It becomes a common social concern how to face certificate fever sensibly and to be outstanding and successful in such a rich resource of college graduates.This paper takes Ningbo University as a case to research and analyze competition in the employment environment of college students and the rationality of obtaining various certificates, as well as the problems and causes involved. And thus it hopes to render some suggestions concerning college curriculum reform and vocational guidance and management of college students.This paper is divided into four chapters. Chapter 1 summarizes the survey among the college students, analyzing the social background of certificate fever from different theoretic perspectives as the theory foundation to further explore the significance of obtaining certificates for the college graduates. Chapter 2 states the present situation of certificate fever, demonstrating and analyzing the general phenomena of obtaining certificate among college students. Chapter 3 analyzes the causes of obtaining certificate for college students from four aspects, that is, society, college, family and students themselves to have a further study of certificate fever. Chapter 4 proposes some feasible strategies and ways to cope with the present situation of certificate fever from the view of society, college and students respectively.
