In order to better the composition teaching effect in the early stage of primary school, based on the basic rules of composition teaching and the development of children's body and mind, with the success and the experience of the composition teaching reform in primary schools in the recent years, this paper investigates the principles of establishing composition teaching strategies in the early stage in the primary school. This paper tries to combine theory with practice and it summarizes and develops the excellent experience in composition teaching, striving to form some practicable, systemic and detailed teaching strategies to guide the composition teaching in the primary school.The paper is divided into three parts. The first part gives a brief introduction and analysis to the background of teaching strategies researching in the early stage of primary school. The second part discusses the principles of establishing composition teaching strategies. The rules of the pupils' composition writing process indicates that the content and the expression training are two important parts in designing and carrying out the teaching strategies. The pupils' special psychology and study shows that the teaching design must meet the need of individualized instruction and encouraging principles. The aims of composition teaching calls for the effective teaching strategies in cultivating pupils' interest and habits in their process of composition writing. Therefore, the third part tries to work out a series of practical composition teaching strategies based on how to waken the writing motivation, expand the writing materials, train the expression and cultivate the writing habits.
