Physical scientific thinking and method are a philosophical insight into physical science. They provide a solid philosophical foundation and effective methodological guidance for the study of physical science. Under the circumstances of the quality-oriented education, which emphasizes methodology and ability, as the main content of physical science education, physical scientific thinking and method are of equal importance to scientific knowledge. In teaching, laying the emphasis on the permeation of physical scientific thinking and method favors the reform of physics teaching and develops the overall educational function of physics.The present paper, with the existing teaching status in senior high school as its starting point, analyzes the importance of the permeation of physical scientific thinking and method. Based on the relevant studies about education and teaching, this paper carries out an in-depth theoretical and practical study on how to permeate scientific thinking and method into senior high school physics classroom teaching.This thesis consists of five parts. The first part is an introduction, which states briefly the significance of this study, the study status of this subject, the study method the author employs and the main content of this study. The second part is mainly on physical scientific thinking and method. In this part the author makes literature review of the formation of physical scientific thinking and method as well as some physicists' physical scientific thinking and method. This part also introduces scientific thinking and method involved in physics teaching in high school. The third part mainly deals with the theoretical base on the permeation of physical scientific thinking and method into teaching. The fourth part is the major one, which is about the author's practical exploration of scientific thinking and method. The author puts forward three principles of the permeation of scientific thinking and method, which are as follows: the principle of unity, the principle of the combination of theoretical study and practical exploration and the principle of proceeding in order and step by step. Under the guidance of these three principles, the author makes a systematic exposition of the concrete permeation strategy in three ways: implementing the permeation around questions, implementing the permeation in the course of practical exploration and implementing the permeation while compiling knowledge. The author tries to found his own series on the permeation of physical scientific thinking and method into teaching. The final part summarizes the study on the subject and makes some suggestions for further research.
