The phenomenon of "high consumption, low effect"in teaching the Chinese lauguage in the middle schools is always puzzling those who were teaching and are teaching Chinese. Many of the Chinese teachers and experts are doing researches on the ways to improve the qualities of the teaching of the Chinese language from the inner of the Chinese language teaching.This essay is based on the samples of the investigation and analysis from my hometown—Wuping County, the western part of Fujian Province. According to the existence and education conditions in the faraway and poor areas, I think it is important and necessary to analyze the particular factors which affect the students' studies and growth in these poor areas. The suggestion will be put forward that psychological health education should be infiltrated into the teaching of the Chinese language. The local practices in this area suggest that it is necessary to make a study of feasible ways to infiltrate the teaching of the Chinese language with the psychlogical education of feelings, will and optimism, which is aimed to help bring out the best in the teaching of the Chinese language and the psychological health education whenever they are closely connected and harmonized. At the same time, the questions between the teaching of the Chinese language and the psychological health education should also be paid attention to.
