With the advent of Information society and popularity of the home computer, playing computer games have been one of the main entertainment activities of the elementary students. and edugames which have educational significance arise at the historic moment. The edugame is a kind of new method which appears in education information times. It takes education as purpose, and takes games as means, integrates knowledge and amusements into an integral whole. It plays an important role in the study and life of the pupils and draws much attention from general public gradually. Bring the education function of edugames sufficiently and applying them to elementary school IT classroom teaching, have become one big research subject in current elementary school IT teaching studies. The research subject has important theory value and real significance, which can make the teaching methods of elementary school IT being innovative, improve information quality and bring up the sense of creation and the ability to deal with actual things. The academic dissertation uses the based-practice research .On the basis of looking up large amount of document data and carrying out the questionnaire inquires, be tied in myself teaching case, the feasibility of edugames that applies to elementary school IT class has carried out demonstration. The paper summarizes out the classroom teaching targets , principles , teaching processes, the problem displaying way , applying tactics and problems that should been paid attention to .The paper thinks that edugames can apply to IT classroom teaching, having unique educational value indeed , can get very good teaching effects. With the fact that people go deep into gradually to its cognition, edugames have bright applying prospect. But, the edugame is also a handful double-edged sword. If it is used reasonablely, it can be helpful teaching. Or it will be quite the contrary. The paper thinks that the research on the days to come should study how to change the cognition to the edugame, how to sharpen the administration to edugame studies, and how to develop more economy edugame resource to wait for a thorough research.
