In today's world, the science develops rapidly,and international competition is becoming increasingly fierce, and the core and the key of the competition is the competition of talents. The training of qualified personnel rely on education, and education is the key to teachers, this is a permenent truth. With the increasingly fierce international competition, the role of the talents is very bigger in enhancing the overall national strength.Therefore, each country regards the education as an important strategic position.The revitalization of education depends on the cultivation of high-quality teachers. As the "education's mother", Teacher Education has the most important position.With the fast developing of society, economy, science and technology, higher education is experiencing a remarkable transformation. As an important component of the higher hducation, Higher Teacher Education is also facing a major problem in this transformation,what kind of attitude the Higher Teacher Education can use to deal with challenges in the new century?This paper is divided into six parts. First, the author introduce research background and search method mainly and study significance of the article and give a bandary stablely to the relevant concept. Second, the author described the birth and devolepment of China higher education for teachers.Third, the author analysed the current opportunities and challenges that the higher education for teachers encountered and came out the advantages and shortcomings of the China Higher Education for teachers. Forth, the author analysed detailed the reason that cause the various problems of China Higher Education for teachers. Fifth, through the compared research, the authors analysed abroad history process of the development of higher teacher education, summarized the inspiration it given us. Sixth, compare to the reality of our current situation, the author attempts to seek a reasonable way for China higher teacher education in the future.
