| Classes in school are the basic units for education, in which the students grow both academically and physically. Whether we can establish a class——united, cooperative, industrious and enterprising, is important for the students to develop healthily, moreover, for a school to achieve its teaching objectives. For the junior high school students who grow rapidly in body and mind, a healthy class can play a role to stimulate them to develop in all round way, to guide them to adjust to right behavior, thus they can form practical spirit and the ability of creativeness.Three types class management prevail: nurse-like, dictorial, laissez-faire. Owing to lack of scientific theory, headteachers tend to be a subjective; they work at will. Subsequently ignore the students as the main body to self-manage and act on their own. It's detrimental for cultivation of the students'quality.To satisfy the demand for the qualified personnel by the current knowledge economy, the thesis puts forward self-management in junior high school. We should respect the students as the main body, their value and character. Through doing so, teachers can provide students conditions and opportunities to participate in the class management.Based on the theory of human subjectivity, A Maslow's hierarchy theory of needs and Objective management, the thesis emphasize the self-management in junior high school. Starting with analysis of the present situation, the thesis investigate the functions of performing self-management. From her own experience as a headteacher, the author gives a sutle analysis of the way to promote the socialization of students, the way to optimize class management and the way to foster citizens for the future. The methods, measures, steps and results for self-measurement are introduced according to her class management stages (i.e. management under guidance of headteachers, cooperation between teachers and students, self-management by students). Finally, the remaining tough issues during her experience are dissected and the author gives suggestions to perfect the management patterns. |
