Current Situation And Countermeasures Of The Art Education In Vocational Colleges

Society has already brought up superior demands to talents, which not only asks them to have professional knowledge and ability, but also has plentiful artistic qualities to develop a perfect man.Education is the key to National destiny. As an important part for education, vocational education has a close relation with the social and economical development. In the recent 20 years, our country has paid much attention to vocational education, which has developed rapidly. Now vocational education is the important way to improving the quality of laborers and fostering talents. But the art education in vocational colleges is a weak link and lags behind. Some colleges do not even have the arts education courses. Nowadays, with the market demand for the talents and the nationaol appeal for developing the vocational education, vocational education must be improved greatly. If not, students will not undertake the historical responsibility to the social development. Therefore, all kinds of art education in vocational colleges is one way to improve and maturing traditional vocational education.The structure of this paper is arranged in the following logical ways: proposing the question, analyzing the question and solving the question.The first part synthesizes the theories of pedagogy, esthetics, psychology, physiology, philosophy, sociology and so on. At the same time, the author analyzes the effects of the art education on the lifelong development of students in vocational colleges on the basis of the basic theory of vocational education and art education. Therefore the necessity of art education in vocational colleges is illustrated.The second part discusses the research methods of this paper including investigation, questionnaire and interview. This paper points out the present situation of art education in fourteen vocational colleges in Henan Province, and then summarizes the reasons of imperfection for art education.The last part introduces some countermeasures on strengthening the art education of vocational colleges on the current time background and the characteristic of vocational colleges. It has the concrete discussions on the following aspects: to build up the vocational education style of both technical training and art education, and to perfect the program of art education in vocational colleges.To sum up, art education can make students broaden their cultural horizons and enhance their perception, appreciation, expression and creativity of beauty. It has indispensable infliences on promoting the overall development of students in vocational colleges and training high-quality professionals for our country.
