Physical education curriculum as an important part of Higher Vocational Colleges’ personnel training, shoulder the important task of cultivating students’ health, sports training and life style, and promoting students’ physical and mental health, lifelong sports habits. Reflecting the physical education curriculum system, it must be admitted that the curriculum system is not scientific, resulting in the teaching results of physical education curriculum and physical health curriculum should have a role in the gap, which directly affects the quality of vocational college personnel training objectives. Therefore, the reform of Public Physical Education in Colleges and universities should focus on the curriculum system.In this paper, literature, questionnaire, interview, mathematical statistics, logical analysis and other research methods, Huaian City, a number of Higher Vocational Colleges of physical education teaching objectives, teachers, teaching content, teaching form, teaching methods, teaching conditions, physical education curriculum evaluation system, physical education teaching quality monitoring system, students learning status and other aspects of the investigation and analysis. The aim is to understand the present situation of physical education in Vocational Colleges in Huaian, with a view to improving the reform of physical education in vocational colleges.Through investigation and analysis, the paper draws the conclusion and puts forward the following suggestions:1, the structure of the teaching staff is not reasonable, the work intensity is big, the proportion of the title is unreasonable, the sports project is unreasonable, the sports teachers’ sense of responsibility is not strong enough. Should accelerate the introduction ofOutstanding physical education teachers, the appropriate reduction of the intensity of work, and strengthen the exchange of teachers with other similar colleges, reasonable adjustment of sports, the establishment of incentive system.2, the knowledge of physical education theory is obviously insufficient, the theory of physical education in the form of a mere formality, hindering the implementation of the quality education, which restricts the formation of students’ lifelong sports habits. The teaching of physical education theory should be opened alone or the proportion of sports theory should be improved in every class.3, the construction of the site environment is slow, the lack of equipment and facilities, the utilization rate is not high. Should speed up the construction of sports venues, improve the utilization rate of the stadium.4, the construction of comprehensive physical education evaluation system is not reasonable or not comprehensive. Suggestions for students learning process and the results of a number of evaluation.5, the physical education teaching quality monitoring system is unreasonable or improper use. The control of teaching quality should be fully communicated with the physical education teachers, and the goal of the teaching is to set up the teaching quality evaluation team with professional knowledge.
