A Research On The Principals' Professionalization In Middle Schools Of Changsha City

With the development of socialized work division and the perfectness of the system of market economy, all industries are bringing forward stricter demands on the capabilities and qualifications of the professionals. It has become a common understanding that the title of technical post should be weakened and the capabilities and the qualification of the professionals should be strengthened. In recent years, Changsha city has been carrying out the strategy of Education Striving the City. It has become an urgent task to train the qualified principals of the high schools. The present management system of principals can't meet the demands of the present situation. So the concept of principals' professionalization of high schools is being formed.The thesis analyzes and summarizes the theory and the practice of the principals of high school by profession in and abroad. The reformation of the civil servants personnel and the experiments of professional principals offer the practical basis for this trend.
