A large number of peasants float to cities as employed laborers, their children left in countryside home have become a social group whose tragic has attracted more and more attention from media and academic field. So some scholars conduct the research of this social group, the previous study always focuses on the development of rural hometown-remained children and some problems in the process of their development. The present thesis ,adopting observing method, questionnaire method, based on the current situation and education of rural hometown-remained children, carry on a detailed analysis of reasons and solutions to problems in education. From the survey, we can see that the longtime separation between parents and children make the horrible influence on many children, especially on pre-school children and those whose parents both or mother go to city. However the society and school don't attach importance to their problems and make many measure. Urban-rural dual economy system which exists for long, "household registration governs school registry" management system of compulsory education are the reasons of system for the problems of rural hometown-remained children and their education. And low quality of rural family education and inefficiency of rural school education are the direct reasons.Therefore, accordingly, the present thesis brings up several strategies on thinking over and dealing with these problems, and on this understanding, maintains that the reform of systems is the far-reaching and basis measure, meanwhile to raise the comprehension quality of parents, to improve the condition of teacher, to reinforce the communication between parents and children, and between teachers and students, to enhance the life and education quality of rural hometown-remained children, should be regarded as the most urgent task. The reform of systems and improvement of life and education of rural hometown-remained children should be combined together.
