Research On Academic Management Of University In Our Country

The modernization of university management need correct management model. The university is a kind of academic organization which on the basis of subject and academic activity as the leading factor. Academic management concern the success and defeat of university, enhance academic level and pursue academic reputation become important substance of the present university 's' project,operation,management and evaluation. Over a long period of time, our universities existed phenomenon that "academic management administrative" when treat the relation of academic management and un-academic management. In nowadays the condition of university's academic management still don't hope for the best. Because centralization of academic management hold-up the freedom and improvement of academic, deviate from the international academic practice. Furthermore, because the academic management appear in our higher education research in a short time, and the research is not systematic and deeply, so it affect the innovation and reformation of university's academic management. The author chooses this question for study. There are five parts in this essay.The first part include four aspect, that is put forward question,summary of research,methods of research and significance of research.The second part put forward the intension of university's academic management from the micro-step on the basis of analyzing and using the collation and stipulate of internal and external university's academicmanagement and analyze the structure of--academic democraticmanagement and academic administrate management, and then differentiate these concepts.The third part utilize history method, compare the develop progress of internal and external academic democratic management and academic administrate management, reach the conclusion that our country pursue academic democratic management on the basis of academic administrate management form culture, while developed country strengthen academic administrate management by academic democratic management form culture. Our country with developed country form clear contrast and illustrate the foundation of our country's academic democratic management is very lack.The forth part explain the relation between the academic democratic management and academic administrate management from their characteristics. The academic democratic management and academic administrate management inner university usually connect together. How to deal with their relation is the question we should take it important when we managed the academic affairs. This essay analyzes it from three aspects to push forward the academic democratic management power and academic administrate management power develop smoothly.The last part put forward some suggestion for perfect our university's academic management, such as strengthen academic management idea, integrate the relation between academic freedom and responsibility, and establish reasonable system of academic evaluation, perfect the system of academic democratic management and the system academic management organization.
