Cooperative study is a reform of traditional teaching method, an effective way to show a basic teaching idea of students centre, as well as a need to cultivate the qualities of students in the process of teaching Information Technology. Cooperative study aims at making joint efforts to study in coordination in a group of four which is combined with students of different study levels. Besides, each group will be awarded based on what they have achieved. It can help students develop on all sides especially in congnition and emotion.Combined with the characteristics and demands of the subject, the thesis is written to explore hoe to improve Information Technology by means of cooperative study. The writing methods include researches, documents search and so on.The thesis contains four chapters. In Chapterâ… the contents of the introduction are as follows. First complete the study task by changing the tranditional teaching methods. Then promote the communication between teachers and students by carrying out cooperative study. Finally make up what is lack in teaching Information Technology. In Chapterâ…¡the thesis shows a good understanding of Information Technology which is carried out both in middle schools and primary schools. It also deals with the challenges that the subject is facing. The main ideas of Chapterâ…¢are the key elements and theoretical basis of cooperative study. In Chapterâ…£it explains the strategies and methods of cooperative study. The thesis explores the new method used in class teaching. At the same time it also gives a summary for further study focused on the evaluation of using PowerPoint and surfing the Internet in classes. At last summarizes the research results of this thesis.
