Focusing on the cognition and behavior of the secondary vocational school presidents in the perspective of role theories, this qualitative research describes and analyzes the role-perception and role-action of them by case study of Zhejiang province. Actually, this study answers questions that what the role perception of secondary vocational school presidents are, how they take the roles, We also analyze the suggestions on how to improve their role adaption as well.The structure and main contents are listed as follows:First part, study role theory, and put forward the theoretical frame on the behavior of secondary vocational school presidents.Second part, qualitative research. Various comprehension of the concept of how to be a president was enumerated in the paper, with the purpose of providing a successful case of studying the headmaster's daily work..Third part, put forward some suggestions on how to direct the presidents to adjust to their roles from the aspects of organizational coordination and individual coordination, aiming at providing an effective and feasible way to improve their administration ability.Expect a great number of headmasters with modern idea and mind, suitable social development to come up in order to satisfy the needs of the fast developing country in this century.
