The Research Of Applied Assignment In Junior High School Biology Teaching

It is the core spirit of New Course Reform to make students host of their studies, and the role of a teacher is to guide the students to construct foundation of knowledge while taking their initiative to discover. A key component of teaching, i.e., assignment, ought to be the important platform ascertaining the idea of New Course Reform.The subject brings forward the concept 'Applied Assignment' and makes a study on the Biology assignment of students in grade seven, junior high school: advance the mode of 'motivate—maintain—evaluate and feedback' in order to form the virtuous cycle and finally make students host of their studies.Basing the questionnaire of discovering problems, the subject designed and put into effect 10 times of Applied Assignments by group comparison during a period of one year. In the experiments, the subject analyzes and compares the two groups—experimental group and comparative group, on their 'initiative and the cooperative ability' and 'Biology academic grade' measured by adopting t and x~2espectively. Here we may reach a conclusion that 'Applied Assignment' has a certain help on improving the students' initiative and the cooperative ability, thus can have an optimistic effect on their academic achievements; what's more, it has also verified the strong support of 'Applied Assignment' in constructing doctrine theory and multi-diversified intelligence theory in practice; Meanwhile, the main features and applicable type of 'Applied Assignment' for Biology teaching in junior high school are concluded based on the theoretical and experimental study; In the end, I have my own view and suggestion to the application of 'Applied Assignment' in junior high school Biology teaching.
