On The Problems Of Human Education In Institutions Of Higher Learning

With the rapid advance of science and technology, the problem of the imbalance in the development of scientific education and human education becomes more and more serious. Human education plays a great role in the cultivation of all-round talents, which has become a central issue in the reform and development of today's higher education.Based on the existing problems in our national human education in institutions of higher learning, with an aim to push the effect of the national human education in institutions of higher learning, this paper starts with the definition of the ideas such as humanities, humane knowledge, humanistic consciousness, humanistic quality and human education. It summarizes the historical development of the national human education in institutions of higher learning through literary consultation, historical analysis, case studies and on-the-spot observation, and on the basis of comprehensive analysis, research and references of relevant literary resources, investigation data and certain cases. Taking some thought-provoking cases happened in some universities in recent years as a point of penetration, this paper analyzes and explores the achievements as well as the existing problems of present national human education in institutions of higher learning. Finally the author puts forward an overall concept and concrete counter-measures to strengthen our national human education in institutions of higher learning.
