The Research On The Selections And Comparisons Of Domestic Training Industry Strategic Patterns

It has only been a little more than a decade since the rise of the training industry in China, but due to the unique characteristics of our educational system, employment rate fluctuations,, economic development trend as well as mentalities of the populace, not only has our training industry been developing extremely fast but also has it great potentials for further development. However, our domestic training industry and the training industries in developed countries almost have nothing in common, which leaves us not much to learn from. In other words, we have to feel our own way to develop our uniquely-characterized training industry.This dissertation starts with the related theories of training industry, including the histories and present conditions of the training industries both at home and abroad. Then, it proceeds to carry out extensive research upon the characteristics of domestic training industry. Because training industry is a new industry, which has ambiguous industry definitions, this dissertation plans on defining its unique features by comparing it with related industries such as counseling industry, vocational education industry and formal educational industry. And then the dissertation classified training industry into different categories based on training contents, training subjects and training scales in order to analyze and compare strategic patterns fit for different kinds of training.Furthermore, the dissertation carries out strategic and competitive analyses of our domestic training industry and the components of its value chain. The dissertation provides references for strategic pattern selections, which will be based on the analyses and comparisons of the existing strategic patterns and the applicable areas as well as the advantages and disadvantages of each of the patterns. The dissertation also provides one case study about the strategic patterns adopted by the schools of the New Oriental and Global IELTS at the end of it as a demonstration of the theories stated. In all, it is hoped that through the researches, analyses and comparisons of the existing strategic patterns in training industry, this dissertation could provide some reasonable suggestions and conclusions for its strategic pattern selections, and could make its modest contributions to a better, more orderly and sustainable development of our domestic training industry.
