With continuous development of IT application, it is an irresistible trend for computer to enter our daily life and work. Introduction of computer in laboratory for standardized management will necessarily enhance working efficiency.Most of current laboratory management system is a kind of information management for laboratory, laboratory facility and personnel, few of which are concerned in management of laboratory teaching. As more and more emphasis is put on quality education, student demand for independent learning increases continuously, it is a trend of breaking traditional means of laboratory management into an open management path, which will raise higher requirements for laboratory management system under new circumstances. Adoption of open management in laboratory not only creates an open environment in terms of time and space, but also offers some optional laboratory programs, as well as provides technical guidance for their specific research topic. This will encourage students to innovate, manage laboratory and equipment in a more effective way as well as increase their utilization efficiency.Based on large amount of literature reviews and in-depth research on current laboratory management system of various kinds, this thesis considers reforming traditional laboratory management model, guiding students to learn proactively, inspiring their sense of innovation and increasing utilization efficiency of laboratory and equipment as starting point, and develops overall framework and designing plan of "open laboratory management platform". As an integrated management platform for networking laboratory guided by laboratory teaching management system, it breaks traditional laboratory teaching model and management model, combines laboratory teaching management into laboratory management, cultivating self-learning capacity of students and actual operational capacity in a more effective way and benefiting the increase of open management in laboratory and laboratory teaching level.Compared with current laboratory management system from home and abroad, the core task of this system is to assist teachers in completing the whole process from tutoring students preview to scoring each laboratory, including arrangement of before-laboratory preview, test, booking, and covers functional models of laboratory task management, equipment information management, student filing management and score ranking. It highly combines people, equipment and laboratory task together, and covers each content in laboratory management, including information and business process of information release, equipment resources, personal and task planning, whose overall integration performance has substantial improvement in comparison with current laboratory management system and greatly increases management efficiency and benefits of laboratory management.
