The Main Problems And Countermeasures During The Employment Process Of College Students

In recent years, the employment situation of college students becomes more and more severe. With the gradually increasing pressure and prominent difficulties in employment, there are more and more problems during the employment process of college students, which has become the hotspot and focus of the whole society. Currently, it is quite an important mission for the Party and the Government, especially for the vast number of theoretical workers and educators, to solve the graduates' empolyment problems.Employment is the basis of the people's livelihood. It is of great significance to solve all kinds of graduates' employment problems and promote the better employment of students: it is the concrete exemplification of advancing the social construction withthe focus on improving the people' livelihood; it is the important duty of building a socialist harmonious society and maintaining social stability; it is an inevitable requirement of constructing human resources power and innovation-oriented country ; and it is the important condition of maintaining the healthy and sustainable development of higher education.Based on the existing research, this paper expounds the main problems in the employment process and analyzes the reasons. Meanwhile, it highlights the responding countermeasures so as to promote college students' employment.The whole thesis is divided into three parts:The first part: expounding the main problems in the employment process of college students. It mainly includes: no working without high salary , no applying in small cities; fraud in job search materials and revelation during the employers' check; signing the contract as soon as possible and breaching the previous contract after signing another; being too eager for job without enough protection; preferring floating to working; following suit severely in lack of their own jobs target.The second part: analyzing the reasons for these problems. According to the analysis, the main reasons are: the intense competition and the increasing difficulties in employment; the overhigh employment expectations and the laggard employment concept; lack of a comprehensive understanding of employment situation and policy; lack of proper psychological quality and sense of integrity; lack of devotion to motherland and society.The third part: based on the anlysis of the main problems and reasons, seeking for the responding countermeasures so as to promote a better situation in students' employment. The main countermeasures include: strenghthening the education of situation and policy to help students form reasonable employment expectations: strenghthening the education of ideals and beliefs to embrave students to devote himself to motherland and society; strenghthening employment guidance to guide students to make contributions to grass roots and countryside; strenghthening ideological and political education to enhance students' sense of integrity and responsibility; strenghthening mental health education to improve students' psychological quality in employment.
