The traditional teaching management concept, management process, and organization structure have not adapted to the change with the coming of the informationalized teaching and teaching management informationalizaton. In our country, the university has been using the process in which the information is given to the superordinate and is assigned to the subordinate step by step in the long run. The process not only affects the efficiency and result of work process and reduces the university service ability, but also adds the management cost. The contradiction between the teaching management informationalization and the traditional teaching management process results in the unclear work process,the unclear duty and right, and the serious personal interference which cause the management confusion.Firstly, from the perspective of technology reformation for the information age and the higher education development, the thesis analyzes the challenges the university teaching process faces at present and puts forward some questions on the university teaching management in view of experiences from foreign university teaching management modes. The questions includes the emphasis on one-sided scientific management and the lack of service concept for the human as the center,the centralized teaching management organization and the hindered mechanism, and the neglected construction of teaching management ranks and the uneven management level. The thesis regards the process reengineering as the center of university teaching management mode reform at the information age. Secondly, the thesis redesigns the university teaching management process, optimizes the university teaching management business process, and reorganizes the teaching management organization structure on the basis of process, which can improve the university teaching management according to the theory and method of business process reengineering. The thesis puts forward the ensuring mechanism for the completion of university teaching management process engineering, which contains the refreshing teaching management concept, the construction of humanized teaching management system, the construction of supporting system for teaching management information platform, and the construction of a teaching management group who aspire to study. Thirdly, the thesis analyzes the teaching management process designed by Wenzhou University and puts forward constructive advice on the basis of empirical materials of teaching management reengineering process in Wenzhou University.The business process reengineering theory is not perfect for the application of university management. Through the study of university teaching management process reengineering, the thesis makes some suggestions for the improvement of efficient movement of teaching management, the economy of resources for running a school, and the ensuring quality of talent training on the information technology condition.
