In China, since a new phase of the high school curriculum reform came into the third year, a new concept has integrated into many teachers' teaching, Therefore, teaching has taken a new look and also made certain results. But with the curriculum reforms gradually deepening and spreading, people are more concerned about: The experiment in basic education curriculum reform is facing so much new content, novel concepts and different methods, whether teachers can adapt to such great change in teaching content, teaching concepts and teaching methods ; Besides, how to make the teaching more effective and whether the students can accept it as well as make effective study should be focused on.Thus understanding the urgency and importance of the curriculum reform in the current situation is being increasingly widespread concerned. In the context of the new curriculum reform, the status of the implementation of investigation and research is of great realistic significance.After making a general view about the new curriculum reform in the concept of historical review, methods, functions, advantages, limitations, and other aspects of the literature, I made a comprehensive, systematic investigation among 16 high school in Panyu district by using qualitative research methods. Research mainly focuses on gathering the information about the new curriculum reform purpose, effectiveness, impact factors during the course of the implementation, as well as represents teachers' reflection and prospect to new curriculum reform.The results prove that most teachers took an active part in the new curriculum reform in order to promote the "teachers' teaching" and "stuents'learning " In the new curriculum reform implementation process, teachers basically embody the principles of the balance, comprehensiveness and selectiveness in the new curriculum reform. In the implementation process ,teachers also achieve initial results, which mainly reflect in two areas: the promotion of teachers' development and the promotion of students' development. However, the survey find that in the implementation process, the new curriculum reform affected by many factors, which made the implementation of the new curriculum reform encounter many difficulties and problems.As a reault, some embarrassing phenomena emerge in the reform. Main factors which impact the implementation of the new curriculum reform lie in the following areas: from national and local governments at all levels, from schools, teachers, or students.Finally, we try to explore and improve recommendations about the implementation of new high school curriculum reform, primarily in the following areas: Firstly, Teachers should further deepen the understanding of the importance of curriculum reform; secondly, teachers should face all students, and be concerned about every student's all-round development; thirdly, school should establish and improve the study system of the curriculum reform and further improve the system of school-based teaching and research, at the same time, education and scientific research should play the leading role in the curriculum reform; forthly, teacher training should be strengthened and the professional standards of teachers should be further enhanced; fifthly the education department should explore and establish new curriculum in line with the comprehensive evaluation system, and enhance the hardware building of facilities and equipment required; last but not the least, the government should properly deal with relations between the three.
