In the latest decade, great achievements have been made in the basic art education in China. Basic art education system with Chinese characteristics has laid down its elementary foundation, of which the basic art education in primary school has been widely promoted with a relatively complete system including the construction of syllabus, curriculum and teaching materials. However, compared with the profound theoretic study of this subject and the relatively completer educations system, the study of the professional knowledge and quality of the teachers and administrators concerned in basic art education seems to have lagged far behind, the causes of which can be listed as follows: firstly, the education administrator and the teachers themselves are short of adequate recognition of the issue of how professional should the art teachers be; secondly, due to the regional differences and the lack of other corresponding conditions, great difference exist in the on-the-job training in different areas; furthermore, the further study mode should go along with the dynamic development of the basic art education subject and the professional trend of the teachers concerned.Therefore, the foundation of a reasonable and scientific further study mode of teachers specialized in basic art education is surely to highly promote the professional qualities of the teachers majored in basic art education and correspondingly guarantee the stable progress of the basic art education and teaching, hence to lay a sound foundation for the reform and development of basic art education. The present thesis is to make a tentative study of the further-study- mode of the teachers specialized in basic art education in the hope of contributing some theoretic ideas and practical suggestions to the reform of basic art education in China.The basis of art education teachers is a highly specialized profession, this career decision is not a substitute, not art teachers have received professional education and training, when the art is not qualified teachers. This requires us to the basis of art education teachers not only need to master the art disciplines expertise, but also need to have education, psychology and other areas of expertise. Therefore, for art education reform on the basis of the numerous exploration, the current China strongly advocated the quality of education made a lot of problems, but also leads to the basis of art education to improve the quality of the teaching profession ways to improve the basis of art education teacher training model, shaping life Learning a new era of art teachers to explore a series of image, the basis of art as a guarantee the smooth progress of education reform.In this paper, to study the basis of art education and art teacher professional growth of teaching practice for the starting point, to reflect on the new curriculum reform has been the basis of their own art education teachers should consider and study the problem and propose the basis of art education teacher training model and means to improve Art Education serving the professional quality of teachers to ensure quality basic education teachers in the ranks of art, has strong social relevance.
