Research On The Construction Of Elaborate Course For Local Normal Universities

To improve the quality of teaching thoroughly, the national ministry of education launched the teaching-quality project in time,in which 1500 national elaborate courses are expected to be built in 3-5 years for the purpose sharing the high quality course resources in the nationwide scale and improving the overall teaching quality. After a 5-year construction,a "national - province - school" three-level gearing situation has come into being. Special websites have been built for elaborate courses by various universities, provinces and cities, with rich course resources accessible freely for the whole society. Besides, local normal institutions have devoted great efforts to the project and made great achievement. But, so far only a few of local normal institutions have been reorganized with national-level elaborate courses. Therefore, the construction of elaborate courses for local normal universities need improving and perfecting persistently.Based on a case analysis, this article mainly tries to explore and deal with the problem of how to construct elaborate courses in local normal universities. Firstly, the paper delimits the construction of elaborate courses in local normal universities. And then, it elaborates on the construction of elaborate courses in local t normal universities from four aspects: 1. the reasons for constructing elaborate courses in local normal universities.And this will be discussed from the aspects of the significance of elaborate courses and the typical features and functions of the elaborate courses in local normal universities .2. the problems existing in constructing the elaborate courses in local normal universities, which will be sorted out by the statistic analysis of the available data. 3. the strategies to construct eh elaborate courses in local normal universities, i.e. the Countermeasures of constructing the elaborate course, including transforming educational concept, training creative talents, improving teaching methods, reinforcing the construction of college teacher team, emphasizing the construction of teaching materials, reforming course program, innovating teaching content, establishing stable practice bases and forming a scientific and effective management mechanism. 4. Taking the construction of elaborate course on CAI Courseware Design and Tailor in local normal universities as an example, this paper makes a corresponding case analysis combining relative theory, hoping that it can provide the model for local normal universities.
