In our country,the normal university has a long history.The main task of the traditional normal university is to train all kinds of teachers.But in the modern sense,"normal University" not only bears the responsibility of training teachers for all kinds of schools,but also carries the responsibility and mission of conveying high-quality and comprehensive talents to the society.Normal University is transforming from cultivating a single teacher education talent to a more comprehensive university.In recent years,in order to enhance the competitiveness of local normal universities,many non-normal majors have been added.However,non-normal majors are different from normal majors' after all,and their quality of cultivation is closely related to the setting of practical courses.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the construction of practical courses for non-normal majors in order to improve the quality of talent training in local normal universities.This paper takes S local normal university as an example,and chooses 10 non-normal majors as the research object.By issuing questionnaires and in-depth interviewing,this paper tries to understand the problems existing in the construction of practical courses for non-normal majors in local normal universities,and analyzes the causes of its problems,finally gives the countermeasures and suggestions for the existing problems as well.This paper is a total of five parts,the details are as follows:The first part of the study is the introduction,including the reasons of the topic,the purpose and significance of the research.The second part is about the related theories of the practical curriculum construction of non-normal majors in local normal universities.This part is mainly divided into the definition of core concepts and the theoretical basis of this study-pragmatism.The third part is an investigation of the current situation of the practical curriculum construction for non-normal majors in local normal universities.Taking S local normal university as an example,this paper briefly introduces the general situation of the investigation,and then makes a general and comparative analysis of the results of the investigation.The investigation and research is mainly carried out from five dimensions:curriculum setup,curriculum form,curriculum evaluation,learning attitude and values,and curriculum management and guarantee.The results show that the Literature and history majors are slightly higher than that of science and engineering majors at two dimensions of curriculum evaluation and learning attitude and values,while the major of science and technology is better than the major of literature and history in the score comparison of the three dimensions of curriculum design,curriculum form and curriculum guarantee,but the overall difference is not significant.From the data of the total average of 3.426,the average value is between "general" and "more satisfactory",it can be seen that the practical course construction of non-normal major in S local normal university is not up to the level of "satisfaction",and there is still much room for improvement.Part 4th relates the achievements and problems in the course of construction of practical courses for non-normal majors,and analyze the reasons from the government,school,personal three levels.According to the third part of the research conclusions,the 5th part puts forward some strategies and suggestions on how to strengthen the construction of practical courses for non-normal majors in local normal universities.It mainly includes: optimizing the curriculum structure and enriching the content of practical curriculum;establishing an evaluation system to promote the improvement of teachers and the development of students;strengthening the construction of practical bases in and outside the school;perfecting the support and guarantee system of practical courses;actively carrying out teaching supervision and implement practical curriculum management policies and systems.
