The new Chinese curriculum spread into secondary schools by the state education department has led to a thorough revolution in the Chinese classroom teaching all over the country. However, the goals of the project are still unknown to most of the school teachers for there being no scientific evaluation system, which has resulted in much confusion between the teachers about how to give a proper assessment of the classroom teaching under the new curriculum criteria and what to do to fully achieve the goals of the new curriculum. Therefore, the reconstruction of a new evaluation system is of great importance. The essay, based on the author's full-scale investigation of the new curriculum as well as the combination with teaching practice, will present a new construction of Chinese classroom teaching evaluation system with its concrete contents and items, aiming to probe into running Chinese classroom teaching more efficiently and cause the progress of both the teachers and the students.
