Reading is an important activity in human society life. It is not only the important to know the world and get information, last also humanity's most general and lasting study method. In education activities, reading is the foundation of knowledge, enhancing ability and promoting quality. It is indispensable key tache to calibrate of learning capability, so learning to study must learn to read."The Chinese Big Encyclopedia"(education) thought reading is a psy chology process of obtaining the siguficance from printed or written Lansing. Reading is also kind of basic intelligence skill which is the precondition to succeed in studies. It is the summation of a series of processes and the behavior constitution.Mathematics reading refers to the psychology process in which the main body obtains the meaning from the written mathematical language and transform as the psychological token. The process includes sensation, understanding, memory and such kind of psychological activates.Mathematics reading can not only promote the development of the students' language and enhance thinking quality but also benefits the cultivation of is of great significance to Senior students.After reading a wide range of mathematics reading materials concerned, the author combines her teaching experience with the research fruits, put concepts of mathematics reading in order. first, the thesis classfies the concepts and ability Mathematics reading and concluds the educational values and characteristics of Mathematics reading. On the basis of the above research the measures and stragegies of cultivationg the students' Mathematics reading ability are stated in the following two aspects: First discussing the quidance on,how to cultivate the students Mathematics reading ability on a whole. Second the thesis argues about developing the students Mathematics reading ability by oncept eaching, formula teaching principle teaching and teaching of exercises. On the base of senior Mathematics reading text. Second, an teaching experiment has been carried out. On different classes, the result of the experiment demonstrates that strategies the strategies of Mathematics reading are of great effect to the students. Finally, the theis presents the analysis and reflection on the factors which influence the Mathematics reading effect.
