In the report of the 17th People's Representatives Conference, it has been pointed out"Education is the cornerstone of the nation, and educational equality is the important foundation for social equality.", which indicates that to promote educational fairness is a great overall and strategic task and the goals of educational reform and development with unwavering pursuit in the process of the leadership of our party's comprehensive building of a well-off society and constructing a harmonious socialist society.Since China was founded, the Party and government pay attention to promote the progress of educational equity and pushing forward to democratization of education. In the last 59years, the development of the Chinese compulsory education development is very quick, and the achievement is outstanding. However, since the 1980s, with the rapid development of civilization, a great number of village populations pour into the city, but the peasants working in cities are troubled by the problems of no opportunities of educational equality, educational discrimination, the quality of teachers, and the mental wound and so on. The children'young hearts are experiencing the social pressure too early, which has a great impact on the healthy growth directly.This thesis analyze the causes of educational equality of opportunities of compulsory education of the child of the peasants working in cities ,on the base of which it suggests that educational equality of opportunities of compulsory education of the child of the peasants working in cities should be promoted, using the research methods of investigation, interview, literature and observation and by the means of the survey on the problems of educational equality of opportunities of compulsory education of the child of the peasants working in cities. The thesis is divided into four-parts in all.The introduction of this thesis is about the reason of choosing the subject of educational equality of opportunities of compulsory education of the child of the peasants working in cities, the research reviews, the research objects, the contents, the research methods, and the related conception definition and so on. The first part mainly analyze the necessities of educational equality of opportunities of compulsory education of the child of the peasants working in cities, from the four dimensions of the request of the compulsory education, teenagers'equal rights , the influence on teenagers'quality improvement on the whole and constructing the internal request of the harmonious society.The second part mainly analyzes the investigations of the survey on educational equality of opportunities of compulsory education of the child of the peasants working in cities in Zhanjiang City. The results show that there are different equality on the opportunities to enter schools, the process of being educating and the achievements in study.The third part analyzes the causes of the non-equality of opportunities of compulsory education of the child of the peasants working in cities in detail. That is, as follows: 1. The cause of national policy: (1)It is necessary to strengthen the maneuverability of policy; (2) There is lack of compulsive sex guarantee for the policy implement; (3) There is a deadlock for the current household register management system; (4) The power of finance system of the compulsory education is divided excessively. 2. The causes of school education and management: (1) The educational resources of the public schools are in need; (2) The conditions of the private schools are to be improved; (3) There are much difficulty in teaching and management. 3. The causes of family environments and education: (1) the poor economic condition; (2) the imperfection of the home education.The fourth part put forward the suggestions of promoting educational equality of opportunities of compulsory education of the child of the peasants working in cities, based on the analysis the results of the investigation: (1) To learn the foreign experience of the solutions to the education of the population moving from the fulfillment of the United States and the EU. (2) To promote the progress of legalization of educational equality of opportunities of compulsory education of the child of the peasants working in cities, by the means of laws to guarantee educational equality of opportunities of compulsory education of the child of the peasants working in cities; (3) To reform the management system of compulsory education further and deeply; (4) To improve the management system reform of the compulsory education actively; (5) To construct the good atmosphere, concerning the educational issue of children of the peasants working in cities.
