Higher vocational education with high quality cannot achieve without the high-level teaching staff. It is an important job for each higher vocational college to enhance the construction of teachers' contingent. Due to the poor economic conditions in less-developed areas, it is much harder to construct the teachers' contingent compared with that of foreign countries and well-developed areas. A high-level teachers' contingent mattes not only the teaching quality of higher vocational colleges in less-developed areas but also whether the college can survive in a fiercely competitive society. It is worthwhile to research how to enhance the construction of teachers' contingent of higher vocational colleges in Less-developed AreasThis article will, based on the current situation of teachers' contingent construction of higher vocational colleges in less-developed areas, analyze the achievements and existent problems in the construction, tries to explore a construction approach adapted to higher vocational colleges in less-developed areas with the guidance of relative theories of human resources and by deriving advanced experiences from domestic or foreign higher vocational colleges, and is expected to assist in constructing teachers' contingent of higher vocational colleges in less-developed areas.
