The scientific inquiry is one of the basic education curriculum reform initiative main study ways, but experiment inquiry is the main form of inquiry learning. For junior middle school students, experiment exploring ability is absolutely necessary key abilities that they freely utilizes the experiment to carry on the scientific inquiry and experience the joy of experiment exploring and discovery.In order to cultivate the experiment exploring ability of junior middle school students effectively, we must investigate the current situation of experiment exploring ability cultivation; know what the factors that restrict experiment exploring ability improvement are. Due to the existing problems, the teaching strategies of experiment exploring ability cultivation are proposed. Therefore, it has an important theoretical and practical significance of the issue to investigate the current situation of experiment exploring ability cultivation.Theory of exploring study, discovery learning and constructivist learning are taken as theoretic foundation of the questionnaire, which others' research findings are used for reference. The current situation of experiment exploring ability cultivation questionnaire for junior middle school students is composed of lying questionnaire and present situation questionnaire. The cultivation actuality questionnaire is composed of 39 items and 4 aspects including teacher, student, school, family. By analyzing the reliability of the questionnaire, the results are the internal reliability at 0.7888 levels and the re-test reliability at 0.8121 levels, which shows the questionnaire with good reliability.280 junior middle school students are selected as research subjects, and the questionnaires which we have established, as a research tool, is used to study the level of cultivation actuality. We draw some main conclusions as follows.â‘ The average score of junior middle school students is 3.3958 in cultivation actuality of experiment exploring ability (the score range from 1.0000 to 5.0000, the medium is 3.0000). It shows that cultivation actuality of all students selected be inclined to be the direction of progress.â‘¡The average score of school aspect is 2.7261 and the score of 8 items is substandard in 4 aspects. It shows that there are negative and restrictive influences in experiment exploring ability cultivation of junior middle school students.4 teaching strategies are presented to change negative factors in experiment exploring ability cultivation of junior middle school students: Improving a teacher's education attainment; cultivating students' correct emotional attitude and viewpoints of values; forming advanced school-running concept and creating atmosphere in family to inspire the all-round development of students.
